Candy buffets are low-stress and big-impact. Take these tips and a bit of inspiration from my all white dessert bar when planning your next shower or soiree.
- Color Scheme: Pick yours colors. Generally stick to one main color and other colors can serve supporting roles here or there. Here, I chose the main color, white, with an accent color, gold.
- Backdrop: We kept the backdrop simple with a circular gold garland made from contact paper.
- Focal Point: The flowers ground the table, but a large tiered cake works well too! It’s important to bring height to the table to achieve maximum impact.
- Sweet and Salty: Balance the sugar with a bit of salt. Popcorn and pretzels keep with the color scheme and provide a nice counterpart to the yummy sweets!
